Working closely with SIC's Workforce Development Team we produced a training facilitation system with Windows desktop application for administrators and cloud portal for users.
Features:
- Online booking for Shetland Islands Council and related external bodies, covering 6,000+ users
- Secure access for staff to view their past courses, search and book courses, access certificates and set training needs
- Line managers can manage their staff's training needs and also book them on courses, with bulk booking facility
- Trainers can access their area to view schedules, mark attendance and enter pass results
- Integrates with various other council system systems including network Active Directory, CHRIS (HR) and Firmstep to capitalise on data/existing platforms in use
- Intelligent training needs identifying suggested courses & where training renewals are required
- Feedback system to gather feedback after a course has immediately completed and 6 months later when the training is in practice, for continuous improvement
- Detailed search, visual dashboard, reporting & statistics to help the Workforce Development Team facilitate training across the entire organisation effectively & efficiently
